If the charges aren't accurate then it's no different than what's being done to Moore.

Well, well. Old Mitch McConnell and a sodomy discharge coverup from the military. Sort of figured there was a skeleton or two in his closet.
There is also the little matter of McConnell’s family connections to a corrupt maritime trading company called Foremost Maritime Corporation, a firm founded and owned by McConnell’s in-laws, the Chao family. A company that has provided McConnell with campaign contributions, and has ben involved in cocaine smuggling.
Mitch is neck deep in corruption and owned, literally owned, by James Chao.

He was already a recruit in training in July 1967.
So, evidently, he passed an Army physical at induction.
The polio he contracted was either cured or did not have enough of an effect to disqualify him.
The official reason for his discharge was optic neuritis, treatable with steroids. So, even if he could not go into combat, he could do other things.
But thanks to Sen. Cooper, McConnell was able to be discharged at the height of a hot war in SE Asia for a “medical” reason when he was facing a CM for homosexual advances to a fellow soldier.
How fortuitous.
Instead of going to college, he went to DC and has been there for 50 years.
Something nobody seems to have noticed is that today, sexual perversion is exaulted when it comes to homosexuality, and transgenderism for examples. Small children are capable (according to the perverts) of deciding their sexual preferences. I’m talking about children as young as 3 tears old.

Moore is opposed to homosexuality, and he’s white. Normal sexuality is aproblem in this day and age.

Homosexual sex (McConnell) is worshiped, hip and cool now, according to the PC crowd. Normal sex (Moore) is passe’ and ho-hum.
