Were told the time of judgment is upon Bill Clinton at last. In the wake of the Weinstein-Halperin-Moore revelations that have shaken the foundations of the countrys cultural and political elites, liberals are acknowledging Clintons conduct toward women was unconscionable.
MSNBCs Chris Hayes got the ball rolling when he tweeted: Democrats and the center left are overdue for a real reckoning with the allegations against him. This week, The New York Times published an op-ed called I Believe Juanita thus accepting the single most incendiary charge ever leveled at the former president.
This one was not about Clinton propositioning women, as he did with Paula Jones in 1991. Or having had affairs with them, as with Gennifer Flowers in the 1980s. Or making advances on them in the Oval Office, as was the case with Kathleen Willey in 1993. Or having sought out an underling for sex, as was the case with Monica Lewinsky in 1995 and 1996.
No, the Times Michelle Goldberg said she believed Juanita Broaddrick, who says Clinton violently raped her in 1978 when he was Arkansas attorney general.
It was painful, Hayes and Goldberg acknowledged, to bring these matters up because they feared theyd look like they had somehow surrendered to a right-wing lynch mob. Hayes complained about how gross and cynical and hypocrtical [sic] . . . the rights what about Bill Clinton stuff is.
Goldberg said liberals were right to be skeptical of womens claims against Clinton during his presidency due to the right-wing campaign to delegitimize him: In this environment, it would have been absurd to take accusations of assault and harassment made against Clinton at face value.
Just replace Clinton in that sentence with Trump and you have the gist of the conservative defense of the current president.

Podhoretz sucks. Period.
>>Which means this, Michelle Goldberg. If you or people like you had believed Broaddrick in 1998, or Jones in 1994, or Flowers in 1992, and said so, heres what might have happened. Clinton might have been impeached and removed, in which case guess who would have been president? Al Gore.
Which means you might not have gotten George W. Bush in 2000. And, most important, you wouldnt have President Trump today.
Nice work, liberals.<<
I need to commit this coulda, shoulda, woulda narrative to memory. That should make Liberal/Progressive heads explode. Nice work, indeed, propping up your boy, Clinton, and allowing Hillary to say, “You OWE me the Presidency for discrediting the ‘bimbo eruptions’.”
Maybe some people on the left need to hold up a mirror and behold their own hypocrisy and cynicism. No faction or political philosophy is free from this defect and the ones crying the loudest about the absolute depravity of the other side are the ones most blind to the similar failings on their side.
Never-Trumper = Never-Moorer = Never-Bannoner
Boy the democrats really don’t want Roy Moore elected, dumping on old Bill, geez
rnc has pulled Sen. Moore’s funding...IF we want to keep him we have to pick up the slack.
If RNC call me I’m making a huge, “fake but accurate” pledge so they waste time and resources attempting to collect.
First : You’re certainly welcome liberals and NeverTrump pieces of shiite.
Next, a new local poll (Fox 10) shows Moore up 49/43 with 8 points “undecided.” The problem the GOPe has is those people are not “undecided,” they just don’t want to say they are voting for Moore. However, battered it and Roy look at this point, my prediction of a Moore 57/43 win still looks possible.
Key differences is stance on abortion.
Which leads me to believe that this entire “abuse of women from Hollywood to DC” is just another liberal act to set the stage for Democrats to take over the congress to get rid of Trump.
It is all coming at a convenient time. For the left, I do not buy coincidences especially since the Soviets, along with Alinsky perfected this.
Fake News. There are no ‘charges’, as the statutes of limitations for the allegations have long since expired.
