It appears Rand Paul (not to be confused with Paul Ryan) is the only conservative with the fortitude to ride the storm with Moore. Rand has simply refused to comment. A handful of other Republicans have done likewise. Unfortunately Ted Cruz had to open his mouth.
Roy Moore is not being attacked for the alleged pursuit of teenaged (minor and adult) girls, but because he is a pro-Trump, pro-Constitution, pro-Bible, pro-family, pro-life candidate. And the swamp is not having any of that.
These accusations do not pass the smell test. But if everything he is being accused of were 100% true, it would not be as bad as the support of the current legislature for homosexual normalization in society, in the military, in the public schools, in adoption agencies and foster care systems. Nor would it be as bad as their current support of abortion on demand. Sure, a guy in his thirties who chases underage girls would not be an ideal candidate for the legislature, but the nasty swamp creatures currently filling these spots are even worse. And that also includes the sexual proclivities of these nasty creatures as well. And, quite frankly, I don’t believe there is any truth to the criminal accusations against Moore.
