The Justice Department’s declaration that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is considering appointing a special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton in response to demands by Republicans should alarm anyone who cares about the independence of the department.
On Monday, news broke that the department had sent a written response to letters from House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), requesting investigations into “a plethora of matters connected to the 2016 election and its aftermath.” Sessions confirmed the content of the DOJ letter during his testimony Tuesday before the House Judiciary Committee.
Goodlatte’s letter reads like a laundry list of Republican grievances about Clinton and former FBI director James B. Comey — Clinton’s role in approving the sale of a Canadian uranium company to Russia, international dealings of the Clinton Foundation, the FBI’s reliance on a dossier compiled by Fusion GPS in its investigation of the Trump campaign and the FBI’s handling of the investigation of Clinton’s private email server, among other things — all pet causes of President Trump’s political base.

An AG tellling the FBI director to call a criminal investigation a “matter”, who then meets clandestinely with Bill Clinton for 20 minutes on a tarmac in Phoenix two days before Hillary Clinton met with FBI investigators and six days before Comey said there was no “intent” to violate the Federal Records and Espionage laws is enough for me.
I could go on. $500k speeches in Russia followed by $143 million donation to the Clinton Foundation, Uranium One, Private Servers, possible Campaign Finance laws...and on and on and on. The Clinton Crime Syndicate needs to be FULLY investigated.
A Dem US attorney who was recently replaced. Yep.
Democrats are never prosecuted because they are protected by their “good friends” the Republicans.
They should not be “considering” it because they should already be prosecuting the Witch!
Sessions is only claiming to be “considering” a special counsel. That’s a long way to actually appointing one and an even longer way to actually doing any real investigative work and eons until any legal action might possibly be considered and an eternity to....
In close to a perfect world, a Special Prosecutor would be appointed. He/she would fine enough evidence to to support a racketeering charge against HRC and the foundation, to include Chelsea, plus her husband. I am leaving Bill out for the moment to savor this idea; HRC, Chelsea, her husband are all 3 indicted for various crimes and all 3 are convicted. Now the fun parts begins, if both Chelsea and husband do time, where do the children go? Court could not let them go to husbands family since granddad is a federally convicted felon. Does the court allow Bill custody since he is a known and accepted serial adulterer, plus strong circumstantial evidence he is also a sexual predator? Maybe we could get some one to roll over on him. Would just love to seem then cry over this.
Nice dream, but these two along with BHO will never be touched. I am not even sure Death will come for them.
