I’m not really sure how this works, but if the Attorney General were to resign, would his successor be appointed by Representatives Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz?

No. If Sessions resigned, the Rosenstein would take over. Which would be going from bad to worse.

Trump then would appoint a new A/G. Which has to be confirmed by the Senate. Who may or may not approve the Trump nominee.

In any event - that process would not start until next year.

So. We are stuck with Sessions. For better or worse.

I’m pretty sure CCG was being sarcastic...and good sarcasm, too! We all know darn well Congresscritters don’t get to appoint the AG.
