I grew up in the shadow of the Second World War. Many of my teachers had fought in it. As a child, I played with toy Eighth Army and Afrika Korps soldiers. I read the collected works of Sven Hassel. I watched every classic WWII movie there is to see from The Longest Day and Patton: Lust for Glory to The Great Escape and Cross of Iron.

But now some silly girl from Cambridge University thinks this interest is dangerously offensive and actually tried to get me fired for it.

Historian Roger Moorhouse has written a book called The Third Reich in 100 Objects.
---
My tweet took the form of a photo of the cover with some comment like fun bedtime reading.
---
At this point, Young Missy intervened. Because she took her tweet down, I can only show you the screenshot.
---
I mention this because I requested that she apologize for her stupid, irresponsible ugly tweet.
---
In any case, whether she did or didnt get the message, is immaterial. She clearly knew she was in trouble because she took down the tweet.
So why am I harrying her now?
Well, its like this.
I really dont like it when people try to get me sacked for the crime of reading a history book. Not even when that history book is about Nazi Germany. Especially when that book is about Nazi Germany.

...let me tell you, all you Ellen Robertsons out there, those of us of the older, wiser, more culturally broadminded, informed and enlightened generations that preceded you are not going to take your stupid, tedious, pettifogging SJW sh-t lying down.

Were going to be needing an alternative party. The very name Republican is giving us a collective sour stomach.
Maybe the Sovereignist Party?
That ship’s crew
unfastened the lines that held it to the pier circa 1913 when the 16th, 17, and 19th amendments were ratified and the Federal Reserve was created. There is no return passage.
Several generations of such schooling is why the Republic is not coming back. The best we can hope for now is to keep the government in the hands of Reagans and Coolidges and Trumps. Not much chance of that. It is now such that the collectivists only have to win once. for it to all be over. That stage was reached during the term of Sultan Barak Hussein. If the Democrats had won a year ago we would be coming up to real Stalinist type Show Trials in two or three more years.
I read about a GI who told of his experiences in Nazi Germany near the end of the war - as in May, 1945. He was part of a group herding German soldiers to the rear, marching along a road that had a seemingly non-ending train of trucks bumper-to-bumper.
He caught the eye on one prisoner, who pointed to the trucks and sneered "Propaganda".
You are correct. All it would take would be one election. I fear, that just as in the Soviet Union, American patriots will be smuggling from hand to hand little copies of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence written on tiny scraps of paper.
I believe every bomb hit something called the Pacific Ocean
Navigating those waters was hazardous until all those holes in the ocean were filled in.
In most intact families, fathers tend to do most of the teaching.
