Agreed. Animals are used for food and other products, it’s a fact of life and nature. It still does not excuse being abusive or brutal to them in the process. They’re going to get slaughtered anyway, why brutalize or torture them?

So very true. Content cows give more milk. Here is a video from the Highlawn Dairy Farm in the Berkshires that uses state-of-the-art robotic milking machines so sophisticated, the cows tell the machine when they want to be milked! Pretty cool.

I worked on my uncle's dairy farm off and on from the age of ten until high school graduation.

I had to pound on a cow once when the wily crud outflanked me and started to pin me against a barn wall.
