ABC News: Firearm Confiscation Orders Part of Solution to Mass Public Attacks
Breitbart ^ | 11 Nov 2017 | AWR HAWKINS

Posted on 11/11/2017 4:40:49 PM PST by Mr. Mojo

Senate Democrats pushed nine different gun controls during the past six weeks, and ABC News has now emerged with a tenth gun law which they suggest may be the ringer.

That law would legalize firearm confiscation orders like those in Washington state. Such orders allow a judge to issue an ex parte order for the confiscation of an American’s firearms. This means the order can be issued without the firearm owner even being present for the process. His or her first knowledge of the order would come when police knocked on their door to sweep the house for firearms.

According to ABC News, the orders are supported by Sandy Hook Promise, the gun control group to which Tim McGraw donated concert proceeds in July 2015. The firearm confiscation orders are also supported by Michael Bloomberg-funded Everytown for Gun Safety.

I would suggest they get the affairs in order before going off to work.
Oh, and make sure those insurance premiums are paid up.

My neighbor says to make sure every member of your family and all your friends have the means and skill to defend themselves and their property NOW! He’s the most congenial peaceable person on earth but he’s ready to kill anyone trying to break into his home or hurt his family or take his stuff.

“Such orders allow a judge to issue an ex parte order for the confiscation of an American’s firearms.”

Come and take them, it will your last dumb mistake you ever make.

“This comes from a founder referred to in pseudonym as Letter from a Federal Farmer (most likely Richard Henry Lee, writer of the Resolution Declaring Independence). Lee explains,

A proper debate on one’s right to keep and bear arms is not one that is framed in the terms of whether you can feel safe from wicked and depraved people, full of hate and malice, who want to hurt you. You will never feel safe from those people and those people will not cease to exist just because you are not allowed to legally own a gun. Why? Because those people do not care about laws and they will always find a way to hurt and destroy, with or without gun laws.

If society is honest and historically accurate, the only question that has any relevance to the gun control debate is:

“Do you trust those in government, now and forever in the future, to not take your life, liberty, or property through the force of government?”

If the answer to that question is “no,” the gun control debate is over.”

I don’t know, but to weaponize law enforcement by turning it into the vehicle of advancing tyranny would have terrible consequences.

I wouldn’t want to be in their shoes at such time.

Yes, confiscation is the End Game. It always has been. But I have this to say to all the “tough guy” posts. When a dozen cops conduct a no knock raid on your house at 3 am, you just might not be able to act like Jason Bourne or Wyatt Earp.

When the cops become fascists and come for you or your guns, you will be outnumbered. They will use surprise and superior firepower. And they will use you loved ones as hostages against you if need be. Think that isn’t correct? Even tough mafia guys are routinely taken down, and they are heavily armed and know how to use their weapons quite well. Just a reality check to all the keyboard warriors. When they come for you, it won’t be cinematic. Do I believe in confiscation? Hell no.

But don’t for a minute think this will be fun.

They already do this in Washington State?

Where is the NRA on this? Heck, where is the Federal Government on this?

When AZ tried to Enforce Immigration Policy, the Obama Administration was on them like White on Rice.

Where is the Court Ruling striking this insidious and illegal attack on the Constitutional Rights of Americans down?

Welcome to the Soviet Union, Democrat Style.

During the Cold War in Serbia they would store them in coffins in the family crypts. I went to more than one funeral weapons.

Won’t be fun for sure. Those kicking in doors at 3 am should think long and hard about the law of unintended consequences.

Totally agree with your post - it won’t be fun. However, with today’s near-instant communication capability, it’s a fact that the first round of raids will alert the rest of the nation in a matter of minutes.

If I was a local cop, State police, sheriff etc, I do believe I’d want my family moved before they suffered some equal abuse while I was out conducting an unconstitutional mission.

No doubt.

However.

When they do it to Joesph Lattimer of Senona Park, Florida, I am likely to hear about it.

Then, I can take a decision.

I can wait for my turn.

Or I can act proactively.

Jason Earp, meet Wyatt Bourne.

LOL!

I shouldn’t laugh at people being put into body bags.

So called journalists write stories on subjects they know nothing about. I’ll wager most journalists can’t define “logistics” even if they had a dictionary.
