French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday said he did not rule out new sanctions on Iran over its ballistic missile program.
According to the Russian Sputnik news agency, Macron said Irans ballistic missile program was very worrying and said additional measures against the Islamic Republic should be included in the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, which should not be canceled.
Meanwhile, in a separate interview with Time magazine published Thursday and quoted by AFP, Macron warned that U.S. pressure to renegotiate the Iran nuclear deal could push Tehran into deciding to build its own nuclear weapons.
If you want to stop any relation with Iran regarding nuclear activity, you will create a new North Korea, he said, adding, If you stop the 2015 agreement, whats your other option? To launch war? To attack Iran? I think it would be crazy in the region.
Macron called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action agreed in July 2015 between Iran and six powers, including France and the United States, the best possible deal regarding Iran.

What?
Is he worried that they might not have enough range and accuracy to make it to the USA, and might fall on france by accident?
Neither option. You don't have to accept a crummy non-deal or go to war. If the entire world united against Iran and NK it would be over or they would be degraded sufficiently to no longer be a threat.
The problem is we can't get unity of all nations to blockade these countries.
We didn’t need unity of all nations to win WWII either.
The North Koreans got away with it. Im sure the Iranians think they can too.
Did he come to that conclusion after mommy/wife told him what to think?
Irans ballistic missile program = Your tax dollars at work.
Just like their nuke program.
French President Emmanuel Macron? Rly? Perhaps he's worried that French deals that circumvented the sanctions will finally get some publicity? Thanks Olog-hai.
