CNN’s Jake Tapper Asks Republican: Would You Vote For A ‘Child Molester’?

CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Alabama Republican party chair Marty Connors whether or not he would vote for a “child molester” Friday.

On “The Lead With Jake Tapper,” the host asked, “Did you believe the accusers of Bill Clinton when they came out during the Clinton years? Paula Jones and Juanita Broaddrick and Gennifer Flowers and the others? Kathleen Willey, did you believe them?”

“Ah, I’m not sure about them. I do believe the blue dress,” Connors answered.

Tapper said, “I guess, here’s a question for you, if it came down, in an election between a Republican who had been proven a child molester or a Democrat, would you vote for the Democrat?”

Connors answered, “I would vote against the child molester if proven.”

Tapper asked, “And does it need to be proven in a court of law for you? Is that the standard?”

Connors said, “Well, I mean, what are we dealing with here? Facts? Or are we peddling gossip? And at this point, I think we’re peddling gossip.”

I really wish the GOP would go on offense here. Of course they won’t. ......................... Congress is a money making operation for those who supposedly represent us. They are mostly all involved in all sorts of get rich quick schemes. You don’t see the money, it gets laundered. Their greed unites them, they will cover for each other. I hate to break it to you but the GOP IS ON OFFENSE. The GOP establishment are the ones going after Moore with this allegation. The democRATS are sitting back watching from the wings while we slit our own throats out on stage.

I agree, i just finished watching Laura Ingraham where she stated that on her radio show many pro Moore will still be voting for him BUT also there are Alabamians who are not supporter but have now changed their mind.

I think he’s afraid to say yes I dated 18 and 19 yr olds. I was looking for a wide. Probably wasn’t my best thinking at the time. I have been happily married now for 39 plus years.
