The University of Connecticut is recruiting 20 male students for an 11-week program to help them stop “mansplaining” and “interrupting others.”
The Men’s Project is hosted by the school’s Women’s Center and vows to train men to “positively influence their peers by challenging social norms that promote gender based violence.”

Is there going to be a seminar about abortions and violence towards the unborn?

The men’s basketball team will be utterly unaffected by this. In fact, they might have some nice girls take the course for them.
This sounds a lot like in the old days when black people were told they should not complain, they should “be respectful” (of their white overlords), and “know their place.”

They will have to be revolutionaries. Not necessarily in a military sense, but they will have to be the ones who stand and loudly say “NO” and then fight the system to make it stick. This is no longer a situation of “working within the system to reform it”.
Oddly enough, they will have to be the Suffragettes of the 21st Century because men and masculinity have to fight their way back into social acceptance.
And no seminar to help deal with screeching feminist harpies?
If you are making a statement to me, predicated on fallacy, you ARE going to get interrupted.
Deal with it, or make sure your statements are defensible.

Duh. Weren’t you paying attention? That’s exactly what this seminar is supposed to address!
So only men interrupt? only men talk down to people, as if they were stupid?
Uconn wants the men’s money, but not their opinion. They proceed to beat them down, harass them, accuse them of crimes they didn’t commit, place on them the entire burden of all that is wrong with the world, then expel them for nothing at all.

Maybe the Men should put on a class teaching women how to submit to their husbands.
