I too never charge. Also, I do not do this work in a public forum as it is too dangerous for observers.

It is often very difficult to determine if the cause is mental illness, possession, or both. That is why prayer for the person is always the safest and preferred action.

Ted,

You said at the counseling group: “One woman asked me why, since I’m a practicing Catholic and believe in the afterlife.

I said odds are that the medium is a fake or con artist doing cheap parlor tricks. I conceded that there is the possibility of contacting something supernatural.

“See,” they said, “you think it’s possible to contact a deceased loved one!”

I said no, I said there’s the possibility that you could contact some “thing.” But I don’t think it’s a loved one’s spirit.

Spooked the hell out of all of them. They never considered it, I suppose.

Dumbasses.”

I would say that they are ignorant regarding demons, medium related spirituality, & etc, that you know about. If they had said it was not necessary to do the study you and some others posting in this thread have done, then I would definitely agree about them being “Dumbasses.”

I’m guessing that the group you are working with is not religiously oriented. yes/no?

Thanks for you testimony.

Louis, thank you for sharing. The feeling you had during this experience is beyond words of description. I too have had the same experience and did not want to come back. I have since crossed over many times and miss being there every moment of every day. I truly want to die daily.

Boom.

Do you know/know of Fr. Chad Ripperger and his work?

Allow me to add, it was much more difficult to Love Life here than it was to leave. God sent me back saying, “Love Me in all the people around you.”

“I don’t know if there is a difference between people being oppressed by demons, or just being outright possessed by them...”

I believe that Christians can be demon influenced via external situations, but they cannot be demon possessed. The Holy Spirit indwells a Christian, so no demon could/would go there.

“Do you know/know of Fr. Chad Ripperger and his work?”

Not personally. But I am sure that it is the same Spirit of Christ working through both of us. I just read his bio and looked at a pic of him. He appears real.

It is much harder for him than I as he chose the public forum while I prefer to keep a low profile. Working with crowds can become poison if one is not very careful.

I also read the books by Thigpen and most of the published Catholic texts on exorcism. While they are excellent, they are never a replacement for the Holy Spirit working through us.

“I believe that Christians can be demon influenced via external situations, but they cannot be demon possessed. The Holy Spirit indwells a Christian, so no demon could/would go there.”

Just as there are many levels of angels, there are many levels of demons. There are also many levels of Christians.

As the Bible states, “You will not be tested beyond your ability.”

However, many days I find that God has more confidence in my ability than I do and tests me beyond what I thought were my limits.

In summary, there are many levels to God’s Radiance. The Holy Spirit is not as powerful as the radiance in Heaven.

God’s pure consciousness could not be perceived at the earthly level except as Fire.

Demons are not covered by Medicare, and they don’t offer generics.

Has anyone tried quoting Scripture at Hillary or John Oldesta? Or throwing Holy Water on them?

No, it was a secular group, which made me wonder why the self-identified “therapist” raised the issue of mediums.

I was recently at a meeting with a group of hospice workers. There were about twenty people, consisting of MD’s, Nurses and Chaplains all who worked with people who were dying.

I was amazed at how many of them openly admitted administering high levels of drugs to people, thus killing them. They felt they were being merciful.

I explained that the pain itself was part of the spiritual process and would facilitate the soul departing. By drugging the person and taking away their conscious awareness they were blocking the last minute spiritual growth which is often very great. Prayer itself will very often remove the perception of pain as the person is raised above the level of pain perception.

I administer the minimum amount of drug that decreases the pain in an effort to maintain clear consciousness.

Tired&Retired,

I understand what you are saying. To expand further on my “that some people are just evil”: they have departed willfully from “their good soul,” so to speak and have embraced “the lie” that Scott Peck wrote about. Somewhere within them is their true good soul, but they have willfully repressed it because they embraced the lie.

Sometimes it is the work that you and similar folks do in finding and releasing that inner good soul from “the prison” that it is kept inside of.

I recommend you visit this site and read the articles on soul rescue: http://www.bswett.com/spirit.html

I have found it quite useful.

Demons are as real as a bunch of pigs running over a cliff to there deaths, unless you don’t believe the accounts.

Thanks for the ping. Demonic obsession and possession are real. Obsession occurs more often than possession.

This is way outside of my brief. But I want to say I think an important benefit of the writings of sane and “official” exorcists is that they work against the sensationalist and almost pornographic interest that some people have about this sort of thing.

But I agree that the chief, maybe the only, good to come of publicity is that people who need help can find out where to get it.

Thanks for your clarification....

Maybe I am fooling myself, but here is my logic.

First, I know that it is God’s Love and the Holy Spirit flowing through me that the evil spirits are afraid of, not me.

In order for me to be an open vessel for God’s Love, I must Love thy enemy. If I could not direct Love toward evil, it would have no aversion to me.

Thus just as a parent always loves their child, but not always the child’s behavior, I separate evil from the pure soul that God created and I can feel Love toward.

The end result is that the evil separates from the pure soul.

This is based upon my experiences and thoughts. I know that Love is very, very powerful.

I always reserve the right to be wwwwrong!!!
