Yep. Holding VA state house isn’t a big deal, though they try to make it out to be because they’re desperate. The propaganda value of them stealing a Senate seat from Alabama is incalculable. Even if they could pull out a win by default, it wouldn’t matter. They need a win like this for fundraising and the fake news industrial complex is pulling out all the stops.
My sister-in-law married a guy 11 years older than she was.... when she was 15. They were married 36 years before he died. They were married in 1981.
It is not THAT unusual. How about giving Moore the benefit of the doubt for at least a few seconds before declaring him a pedophile. Hard to believe a West Point grad and assistant District Attorney would just casually commit statutory rape.

If Moore falls from grace, it’ll be because of a lack of responsible behavior nearly 40 years ago. A man should know the difference between right and wrong. The excuse every one does it isn’t true because most people don’t do it. Period.
I simply can’t condone that kind of behavior and accept that’s its evidence of admirable character. If true, all the more reason Moore can’t serve in the Senate.
The consent age in Alabama is 16.Has been forever. The only story that can be use on him is the now 52 year old that claims he tried to feel her up when she was 14 and it was 32 and it was 38 years ago. Moore has been in Alabama politics for 40 years. Democrats in the state hate him. They play hardball politics in the South. If there was anything to these stories it would came out years ago and ended his career. McConnell could be behind it, He hates Moore because Moore is an outsider and will be in Trump’s corner 100%.
It’s just so damn transparent. The GOPe, McConnell in particular, tells us Bannon’s candidates can win primaries but can’t win the general. Abra ca dabra, it’s disclosed that 39 years ago Moore hit on a 14 year old. Out of thin air, like a great magician the WaPo pulls a rabbit out of the hat.
The GOPe will gladly lose a senate seat and use it as the excuse to tank Trump’s agenda, something they were doing anyway. Then, they will turn to us and say, “see, we told you that you have to support our candidates.” As if we won’t know that they sabotaged Roy Moore?!?!
And on another note, FoxNews has found its new Meghan Kelly clone in the form of Shannon Bream. She was on tonight treating this story with not even one shred of skepticism. Chris Stirewalt, Megan Kelly’s old smirking RINO pet has been adopted from the GOPe shelter. He was on with his usual Republicans are doomed and Roy Moore is guilty schtick. Lord help me I want to punch that guy in his always wrong face.
What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Why wait 34 years to come forward with accusations? This should have come out during the primaries, if true, but didn’t. No, this has the fingerprints of the DEMS or RINOs all over it. Yousound like a troll.

Love the Shannon Bream/MeAgain comparison. Everyone on Fox, except Hannity and Laura Ingraham, were acting as if Moore was guilty.

But its damaging because how do you disprove a negative? And it will be used against him because he’s a religious Christian and should have known better.

My grandma was 13 when she married my grandpa who was 20. They were married 45 years. My mother was 15 when she married my father who was 21. They were married for 30 years. My sister got married when she was 15. That was 1961. She just celebrated her 56th anniversary. My brother in law was 18 when they got married.

People can be tried and convicted in the court of public opinion.
Moore’s main problem isn’t a legal, criminal or civil proceeding against him - statute of limitations on that front ran out decades ago.
His main problem is public opinion and politicians live or die by it.

Two of my three children have participated in courtship, the goal of which is for each to discover suitability for marriage. I do know if this is the arrangement Roy Moore had with the parents and three young women who had reached the legal age of "consent". In christ-honoring conduct sex only properly occurs within marriage. Sex outside of marriage is sin.
