Does state legality of the drug alcohol create a whole state full of drunks?

Let's say it does. Why would you want to add a generation (or more) of dumbed-out stoner kids?

Look, I know there is no coming to agreement on this issue.

All I know is that it took me over 20 years to get sober, and I thank God for the help.

Life is hard, often even for the young...but having a clear head can really help.

It doesn't - that's my point. Predicting "a whole state full of stoned people" is hysteria contradicted by history.

Pot would remain illegal for kids. Since kids have been reporting for years that they can get pot (illegal for all) more easily than cigarettes or beer (legal for adults), it appears that the best way to keep a drug out of kids' hands is to legalize it for adults - which gives sellers an incentive to restrict their sales to adults.
