McPaper has been a joke since its inception. Wasn’t too bad as something left for free on one’s hotel door when travelling, but it’s quality nowadays sinks below CNN.

Another explanation is that some USA Today stringer was surfing the net for examples of add-ons and came across such a chainsaw bayonet image, failing to notice that it is a joke, and was dumb enough to believe it.
