The American suburbs appear to be in revolt against President Trump after a muscular coalition of college-educated voters and racial and ethnic minorities on Tuesday dealt the Republican Party a thumping rejection and propelled a diverse class of Democrats into office.
From the tax-obsessed suburbs of New York City to high-tech neighborhoods outside Seattle to the sprawling, polyglot developments of Fairfax and Prince William County, Va., voters shunned Republicans up and down the ballot in off-year elections. Leaders in both parties said the elections amounted to an earsplitting alarm bell for Republicans ahead of the 2018 elections, when the partys grip on the House of Representatives may hinge on the socially moderate, multiethnic communities surrounding major cities.

I wonder how the NYT covered Saddam Hussein’s elections?
BS
Over reach.
Right, New York Times ... we believe you. /sarc
Just let them think that.
So Republicans do not do well in voting districts where Trump did not do well in 2016, yet this is a repudiation of Trump? Only to hosers in the establishment and the media.
Biggest issue to Va voters: healthcare.
People in the suburbs are subsidizing everyone else for Obamacare and the Republicans did nothing.
LOL The Fake News Fags are on full meds withdrawal after the GopE handed the Dummycrats the election to Va.
All those areas described sound like liberal enclaves to me. What am I missing?
Par for the course.
Normally this would be the signal for the GOP to shrink away and accept the beatings until moral improves.
Not this time, Not with President Trump.
They can either lead, follow or get PUSHED the Hell out of the way!!
Rebelling against Trump? Not so much. Threatening Republicans in Congress? Only the ones dragging their MAGA feet.
Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha...
*DEEP BREATH*
Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha!
GOPe thinks people will vote for them just because they’re not Democrats.
Guess again.
“From the tax-obsessed suburbs of New York City to high-tech neighborhoods outside Seattle”
What no bible belt cities in Kentucky or conservative suburbs in Ohio to cite? The Dems losing Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania in 2016 didn’t really mean much either, right?
Only people threatening Republicans in congress are the Republicans in congress.
I don’t have any reason to vote for them, senate or house. They ain’t on my side.
Maybe their donors will give them the votes they need.
Wasn’t it more like felons, muslims, snowflakes, and government unions?
These are all heavily democrat places that no Republican, Trump included, do well in. Or am I missomething?
You are correct, sir. Those mentioned are leftard enclaves. Just like their “reality” that Hitlery was going to win, now they believe ALL suburbs are in revolt and would rather be communists LOL
