It is good for domestic fracking. 4D chess my friend. It would boost our output and exploration and drilling resulting in market stabilization after our exports ramp up. Iran’s life blood would be cut off. The House Of Saud would lose a lot of world influence.
In school I learned setting up bullies against each other was much much wiser than trying to fight either one. Giving the person that bullies you less an advantage is the wise move. Let them fight your fights for you. The one you gave the advantage to is grateful. Both are too dumb to know you orchestrated it.

The Gulf will be un-navigable, and oil prices will rise. Somehow or other, Israel will get pulled into this, and that’s not a good proposition.

The Houthis are some kind of regionally based religious/political movement. They are mostly from one tribe IIRC, but I can’t remember the name. Apparently many of their enemies are also from the same tribe.
