Chris Matthews Fantasy: RICO Prosecution of Trump Aides

Chris Matthews has a new thrill up his leg . . .
On this evening’s Hardball, Matthews fantasized the possibility of Trump campaign aides being hit with RICO charges. RICO is the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, adopted by Congress in 1970 for purposes of combating the Mafia.
MSNBC “terrorism analyst” Malcolm Nance got the ball rolling by suggesting that Trump aides might have been paid Russian agents. Matthews then upped the ante:
“That’s when I begin to think RICO. And a RICO charge. Anyway, and running a criminal operation, that they’re all doing it together.”
