I would hope so, but I think Marvel would follow the Spider-man route and cameo them in current productions then spin them off.
Oh that’s what we really need in the companies that make movies - more consolidation; yea right. /sarc
What may be good for 20th Century Fox may not be good for a movie industry already very consolidated and pushing out more and more crap.
The first Fantastic Four was actually pretty good. The actor they had playing Dr. Doom wasnt great, but they had a good Thing and Human Torch. The sequel sucked when they proceeded to ruin Galactus and themSilver Surfer. The reboot truly sucked. The x-men need a reboot anyway since they made Magneto so over-powered and Hugh Jackman wont be playing Wolverines any more. Not to mention the Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch licensing issues. I look at this as good news.
And with the money they’d earn from the studio sale, Fox could further bolster their sports networks and kill off ESPN, once and for all.
Once you have the media under control, you control the masses....attributed to Joseph Goebbels of the Third Reich.
Sad ending to a once great film company started by Darryl F. Zannuck.
Thanks monkapotamus.
Hello new professional football league??? 🏈
My understanding is that this involves Hollywood-type Fox enterprises - including some cable channels. Technology is changing that part of the media notably... might have something to do with this. Disney is here in my back yard, and - while they bring train loads of money into Orlando - they are not a very good neighbor... AND their media is only designed to corrupt children. IMHO
Comcast sucks!
Sorry, obligatory.
