To: heights

I’m acquainted with atheists who are not like that; I just can’t understand why some of them are, or care at all what other people believe.

It’s almost like a resentment, and as if another’s belief is somehow a threat to the atheist - which strikes me as a sign of great insecurity.

That’s precisely it- You’re right- there are atheists who are perfectly content keeping their unbelief to themselves- or even to discuss their unbelief in a civil manner- it’s the angry hateful ones though that present as insecure-
