Oh man...I hope this guy doesn’t get sued by shooters family.
Not to be a dick, but couldn’t you just post this as a comment to one of the other many threads?
Collate info, don’t start a whole new file cabinet for every piece.
Just saying. Love you. :)
Multiple weapons found in vehicle
Freeman Martin, from the Texas Department of Public Safety:
At 11.20 this morning a suspect was seen at a gas station dressed in all black, he crossed the street outside the church and began firing at the church.
That suspect entered the church and continued to fire, as he exited a local resident grabbed his rifle and engaged the suspect. The suspect dropped his rifle and fled, the local citizen pursued the suspect.
A short time later the suspect at the county line ran off the roadway and crashed ad was found deceased in his vehicle. We dont know if it was self inflicted.
He is a young white male, maybe in early 20s, dressed in all black tactical-type gear and was wearing a ballistic vest.
There were multiple weapons in the vehicle.
23 people were killed inside the church.
A Gun used by an Armed Citizen stopped the Murdering Gunman.

Somehow it seems to me the shooter has a connection to someone in Sutherland Springs. Why else would a person from north east of San Antonio drive 25 miles to a small town church and try to kill the whole church congregation. He could easily have just shot up a church closer to his home if he just wanted to kill people in general.
I read reports that his mother in law lives there and is a member of the church. Ugly divorce he blames her for?

From Heavy.com -
“According to The Daily Beast, Kelley was married and Kelleys mother-in-law listed a P.O. box in Sutherland Springs as a mailing address.”
But it might also make sense if someone to wanted shoot up a church someplace where there wasn’t a large, immediate LE presence. Especially since he tried to make a getaway.
But I suspect the in-law connection was the motivating factor for this location.
Hey, a while back there were some stories posted of lefties “arming up” and training. Those threads have pics, and as I recall, this guy looks like one of the people in the pics.
I don’t think anybody is gonna ask who shot him. I’m not interested. Dead is dead. Plus, he had multiple weapons so was still capable of return fire even if he dropped one. I imagine his soul is finding out about now whether that atheism thing worked for him.
One thing seems certain. If he did not have a personal grudge or connection to that church, then this attack was 100% about murdering Christians.
San Antonio is more left.
Being a coward at heart, he likely thought he was going to escape. That’s easier to do in a small town with the country roads than in a big city.
There apparently used to be healing type “waters” there. Maybe he got annoyed that they were now gone....
It seemed important to me that people know that a good gun challenged the shooter. I am curious as to why the bg died. Wondering if he was shot by the neighbor and that was why he dropped his rifle..... wonder if we will ever know?
I splained it Lucy
