it’s only 35 miles, about the same distance from Fort Worth to Dallas.

It is a suburb, okay with larger front and back yards, but a suburb still.

It is a suburb, okay with larger front and back yards, but a suburb still.

Look at it on Google Earth. It's a fairly isolated, older community surrounded by lots of farmland on each side. Looks like a few miles toward San Antonio before there is anything that could be called a suburb.
