• The shooting occurred at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs in Texas 
• A witness said among those who were shot in the attack was a two-year-old child
• Another witness said a man 'in full gear' walked into the church and opened fire
• Victims were transported to a local hospital and it's unclear if any are deceased

At least 16 people have been shot inside a Texas church after a gunman opened fire during the Sunday morning service.  

The shooting happened at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, where around 50 people usually attend service, according to local reports.  

Witnesses said a man 'in full gear' walked inside the church and opened fire just before 10.30am. 

Neighbors in the area said they may have heard the shooter reload multiple times. 

Another witness at the scene said a two-year-old was also shot in the attack.

According to KSAT, there were at least six helicopters called in to transport victims to the hospital. 

It's unclear if anyone was fatally wounded in the attack.

While I’m on my little rant, see post 500, I want to point out how News media (they are not journalists) are using twitter statements to push their agendas. The Chelsea Handler and Wil Wheaton anti gun quotes isn’t news, they are just a way to stir up controversy which ultimately add to the media’s revenue stream.

As a start, the safe use and deterrent qualities of having an armed citizenry is never mentioned. The fact is owning weapons is our constitutional right and it also keeps the gov’t, which is supposed to serve us, from becoming a tyranny.

While Fox news may be the least extreme of the ‘fake news’ organizations (Ahem, fair and balanced?). They care not for most of the genuine people, or the general population. So! I maybe wouldn’t call them chicken sh_ts, but I think they have a lot of hen house ways.

Maybe not Poland, but there are 10 European nations that have more people killed in "mass shootings" than the USA.

The biggest difference between mass shootings in the USA and in Europe is that here, the shooters generally use semi-auto rifles and pistols. In Europe they use illegal, fully-automatic weapons. Remember the shooting at the camp in Norway, the Charlie Hebdo shooting, the Paris concert hall shootings? All done with full-auto weapons.

Don't buy into the lie that it's worse here than anywhere else in the world. We're better than much of Europe, and that's not even getting into the uncivilized world...Central and South America, Africa, parts of Asia (remember the massacre not to long ago of tourists at a resort in the Philippines?), etc. Better yet, when you hear some loony Leftist a-hole trying to spread their bullshi'ite vomit, hit 'em with the facts. Someone who can be won over to the truth is sure to be listening.
