Trump, Abe enjoy golf in Tokyo

November 05, 2017 20:21 IST

United States President Donald Trump was seen enjoying golf with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and professional golfer Hideki Matsuyama at the Kasumigaseki Country Club in Tokyo, the planned site of the 2020 Olympics golf tournament, shortly after arriving in Japan on Sunday.

Taking to Twitter, US President Trump uploaded a video of him taking a shot as Abe and Matsuyama looked on.

He also said, “Playing golf with Prime Minister Abe and Hideki Matsuyama, two wonderful people!”

Earlier, Trump also praised the US-Japan military alliance and thanked the US troops for keeping all safe and boosted the country's military ability.

During his Japan visit, Trump will meet Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko and conduct working meetings with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other leaders to reaffirm America’s unshakeable alliance with the country as they face the North Korean nuclear threat.

According to The Japan Times, Abe told reporters before Trump’s arrival that he welcomed the visit as a chance to deepen bilateral ties by building upon the “friendship and trust” between the two leaders, fostered by several meetings that included a round of golf in Florida earlier this year.

I hope the Prime Minister keeps an accurate golf score. If so, we can call him ‘Honest Abe’.

It’s instructive how TDS sufferers criticize the golf POTUS plays, but make no mention of the hundreds of rounds Black Jesus completed over eight years. Trump is conducting business on the links. Obama used golf as an escape from job responsibilities.

” Obama used golf as an escape from job responsibilities.”

IMO, the golf course was where e a lot of the corruption shenanigans were plotted and managed.

Golf can be a great tool for getting some work done. Lots of deals struck over a game of golf and that’s how Trump uses it.

Obama golfed all the time with what was basically his choom gang.

....
Yep, so true.
In this case, Trump is using it so he can escape bugged rooms and directional microphones...

Likely good planning against China and Norks.

Obama used golf as an escape from job responsibilities.

And his usual companions were Black NBA thugs

One thing I've learned as a businessman is that golf plays a very large role in it. It's not so much that deals get done on the golf course but it provides an outlet for business partners to size each other up and develop a bond that is just not possible to accomplish in a boardroom. If there wasn't golf, something else would need to be invented to provide that outlet.

Obama has no business chops so out on the golf course, he projects the image of an immature frat boy out with buddies which is evident by the way he dressed and acted out there. With Trump, it is quite obvious that he belongs out there and golf is just an extension of his workday.
