Stuart Varney: Bergdahl gets no prison time
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
He bad-mouths the nation. I imagine the judge loved that
...and here my dumb ass thought that he would get at least 1 year for each dead service member looking for him would have been a very “light sentence” if he got a liberal judge......man was I wrong.
O’Bambi Judge????
What makes me sick is he will be put at podiums by the left and paid enormous money to criticize the US and praise islam. Such a corrupt judge, I don’t know what to say.
Trump was not president when this guy committed his crime. That was in 2009. Trump was not president when he was a candidate. That is when he said he thought Bergdahl was a traitor. It could not be command influence because Trump was a civilian.
The “judge” said he would use Trump’s comments on the campaign trail to mitigate the sentence.
This is a lefty judge taking a slap at the president, and ignoring our wounded warriors (wounded because of Bergdahl) in the process.
This is such a travesty, simply shameful.
From Oct. 30:
Sgt. Bergdahls Sentence May Be Lighter Because of Trumps Comments

Dishonorable discharge, reduction in rank to E-1, $1000 per month for 10 months. I would have given him at least a year in Leavenworth.
Exactly what power did PDJT have over this case? The only one with power appears to be the judge and he won’t have that much longer I hope.
This judge is a disgrace
It seems like the judge is a Trump hater and wanted to
prove a point. (McLame)
from what I’ve seen, everybody who has gone up against the President has been knock down and quit.
Maybe they should call it Fort Shame, not bragg.
I agree. Trump needs to learn when his tweets only damage himself and his positions.
You are totally wrong, no matter what the world says a judge should rule on the case and the evidence. Judge a righteous judgement.
Trump was not the president and in the chain of command. He was a civilian. He was a real estate guy. His opinion was a civilians opinion. There is no way that unlawful command influence applies to the comments of a civilian.
This is disgraceful cowardice on the part of the judge
Trump reaffirmed his earlier statements as recently as October 16th.
His opinions as a civilian are irrelevant to the military Justice process that holds those in the chain of command accountable. Trump was not in his chain of command.
No he simply said his words were on record.
I’m sure the families of the soldiers who died looking for him are relieved...because according to Susan Rice he did serve admirably.
