Grassley is the person you should be talking to. He vowed that if Trump fires Sessions, he, Grassley, will refuse to confirm a replacement.

“...no leaks about important things...”

I am inclined to agree with your assessment. We have to wait it out and trust our President who is clearly on our side, the side of We the People against the globalist atheist communists.

My daughter and son-in-law are both lawyers and they never ever talk about the cases they are working on.

The Senate is not the people who have something on him. But the Clinton machine is still very powerful.

That powerful Clinton machine tells dems how to vote because they are the ones who do have the dirt on those dems and control their votes.....they know who they own and who they can not control....Not Jeff Sessions I guess by how the dems voted.

I think he is laying the groundwork to do just that...

I agree. Gotta have something to point to before saying, "You're fired!"

Well, Mr. President, if you're so disappointed, why don't you do something about it? Last time I checked, you were their boss.

He is waiting until the cheezy, balless, congress critters pass the tax cuts bill, and then he will lower the boom.

You do not become a billionaire by being stupid.

There is no statute of limitations on TREASON.

Jeff Sessions himself needs to be investigated.

Exactly WHAT THE HELL DID HE DO WITH THE RUSSIANS that justifies his continual recusal on all things Hillary?????

Time for Sessions to recuse himself out of office (i.e. Trump needs to fire him).

Trump is clean.

Clinton, Schultz and Obama are dirty.

Yet, no one is being questioned.

Trump will not fire obama clinton hold over en mass...

Sessions will not even go after the small timers in the DNC scandal?

Something isn’t quite adding up for sure.

I don’t really care about the announcement of another investigation, which will result in nothing. I would prefer to hear Sessions announce indictments and arrests. So I am OK with the silence.

OK, we will see how things play out.

Sam, I'm with you.

I have not been disappointed by DJT and I will not go into panic mode now.

Sure, I'd love to see Sessions going full bore after the bitch, but it can wait, tax bill first, the bitch's broom and balls...next.

‘Fire RosenKrantz first and put some real Assistants in there.’

Absolutely. Fire Rosenstein in a very high profile move. Use the occasion to list ***all*** the things Sessions has forbidden himself from investigating (pretty much everything except gangs and marijuana). State that due to Sessions’ self-limiting inability to do the job, the Deputy AG *IS* the AG. So, since Rosenstein isn’t doing the job either, he has to go. Work in a mention of the fact that the Deputy can be replaced, whereas the Senate has sworn not to confirm Sessions’ replacement, and all the bases are covered.

That would give all concerned a little something to think about.

“Mr. President, if you're so disappointed, why don't you do something about it?”.....

President Trump, we, the “Deplorables” are waiting for you to “Make America Great Again”, you can start by replacing Sessions with someone who has a backbone and will not be intimidated by those he would go after.

I think you are just whistling past the graveyard. Trump has failed us on this one key issue: justice.

The real truth is that if Clinton, Comey, Lynch et al go down, they are going to bring everyone down because they have dirt on just about everybody.....Republicans too.

Everyone in congress knows this, so they are playing a dangerous game. They are going to tolerate Trump, but they have ensured that NO ONE will be prosecuted. They simply have outmaneuvered Trump on this. The “law and order” candidate is powerless, because everyone in congress is guilty and covering their own asses.

You have no more reason to respect the Congress, the FBI, or the CIA.....They are all nothing but a big crime syndicate now. The sooner we all realize this, we can start living our lives appropriately.

I agree with you and think the tweeting about the DOJ is a sideshow.

Sessions said to Grassley that there had already been convictions in the Uranium One bribe scandal. Sessions wouldn’t comment further on that investigation and he didn’t say he recused from that investigation.

My theory is Trump knows what’s coming down and he wants to seem out of the loop when it happens. Of course the Dims will blame Trump’s tweets for putting pressure on DOJ to pursue charges. That is a given.
