A public high school in Minnesota implemented a required, race-based English course aimed at eradicating “white privilege,” but it wasn’t billed that way to students or parents, according to a public policy organization.
“Pre-AP English 10 constitutes an abuse of parents’ trust, taxpayers’ money and — most importantly — vulnerable children,” Katherine Kersten, a senior policy fellow for the Center of the American Experiment, told Fox News. “Edina citizens should hold district leaders accountable for substituting political indoctrination for a real education.”
The Minnesota-based think tank started researching Edina public schools after they heard students, parents, and teachers in Edina complaining about the aftermath of the 2016 election, when 80 staff members — most teachers — co-signed an editorial in the student newspaper bashing President-elect Donald Trump and aligning themselves with the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton.
“Many of you [students] have made clear ... that right now, you don’t feel physically safe,” the article read. “Know that we will do all that we can ... to fight for you,” and that “we will teach rebellion against a broken world.”
Kersten discovered a required 10th grade English course adopted in 2013 by Edina, focused on colonization, immigration, and social constructions of race, class, and gender. Kersten published a broader finding in a cover story titled: “Whose Values? Educational excellence threatened by ideology in Edina schools.”

I recognize no elements of English in that course description. Bet the students can’t even properly use an apostrophe, a sorely needed remediation just about everywhere online.

Left wing “teachers,” i.e., indoctrinators like these POS moonbats in Minnesota should be tarred, feathered, and run out of town on a rail. They should be educating the students, not poisoning their minds with lies and other communist crap.
My first cousin is an elementary school teacher on Long Island, New York. She is a conservative and told me that she can’t stand most of her fellow “teachers.”
She also told me that when she retires in a few years, her retirement party will only include family members. None of the other “teachers” are going to be invited.

If you are in Edina, MN, and your children would be taking AP English, and you are not homeschooling, Chesterton Academy is an EXCEPTIONAL place for your children to be. My guess is that many of the caring parents send their kids there or to the Parochial school and Calvinist schools in town.

I don’t believe as many whites are naïve as you think; outside of some young whites (safely in a pack) marching with unassimilated trash at some urban demonstrations, I’ve never seen whites so completely segregated from blacks in my lifetime - across the country. This is in part caused by the fact that they rarely rub elbows anymore; black urban cores are now surrounded by growing rings of Hispanic and Asian buffer zones, and many blacks are altogether out of the private-sector workforce. Whites simply aren’t allowed to publicly state the reasons why they rarely venture anywhere they may encounter blacks, especially young ones.
