Former interim DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile has penned an article in Politico laying out brutal sunlight upon the Clinton control over the DNC and how the party apparatus was used by the Clinton campaign in the 2016 election. Essentially, every complaint held by Bernie Sanders and his supporters is confirmed.

I have a theory on what is happening: The dems want Bill and Hillary to leave. The dems have put up the clintons for a long time now. They put up with the endless scandals and embarrassing attempts to defend the clintons. They gave hillary TWO chances to win and she blew it. The dems knew that the clintons were using the DNC for their own selfish reasons. The dems, IMO, put up with all of this hoping that they would be benefactors of a hillary win. That did not happen. Now the DNC is broke and has no message that reasonates with the country. The 30-plus years of identity politics, started by the clintons and perfected by the obamas, has blown up in their faces. The dems are penniless and out in the wilderness an they know it.
But HRC will simply not go away. It has been a year since the election and hillary can not shut up. She has blamed everyone (including the DNC/democrats) for the loss. No democrat politician will get any traction with bill and hillary still there.
Limbaugh said about 15 years ago that the clintons are like someone who you invite to your dinner party.....and then they never leave. That is sooo true to the clintons; they will simply not leave. They have to be forced to leave. I think that is what is happening now.
Now you have Donna Brazile and Elisabeth Warren now accusing the clintons to primary rigging. The dems know that they can’t go anywhere with the clintons still in charge. They have to remove them. That is why I think that dems are behind the outings of hollywood. Tinsel town always cozied up to the clintons. By outing them, they are removing allies to the clintons.
The real irony of this is that if they are successful in removing bill and hillary from the party, the dems will actually be in worse shape. While Bill and Hillary are leftist, the DNC is even more left leaning. They will no longer be a national political party (as if they are not one now)

I’m old...I still don’t get it.
The arrangement described in the story, if true, would seem to be a clear violation of the campaign finance laws, of the “Go to jail, go directly to jail, do not pass go” variety. This would be a serious matter except the FEC will deadlock 3-3 and will not bring a case.
