In an interview with Arizona Senator John McCain for Thursday’s NBC Today, Senior Correspondent Tom Brokaw invited the Republican lawmaker to attack President Trump and painted the liberal media as the victim: “In the course of your political career, especially as a presidential candidate – as I learned first hand – you had some mixed relations with the press. The President has no use for the press, he has turned the country against us, in many ways.”
McCain was quick to agree with Brokaw’s whining: “Yeah, I think the role of the press is more important than ever before. I hate the press, okay? But the fact is, without a free press in this country, a pillar of democracy is destroyed.”

McCain should have asked Brokaw why the LSM didn't bother to vet BHO's BC even one-tenth-of-one-percent as much as they did on McCain's.

People like Tom Brokaw turned the people of the country against the media by bad reporting and making up some news before they had the facts. All Trump did was call it to our attention, although some of us were fully aware of the issue long before Trump mentioned it.
McCain’s body will persist after natural death due to years of pent-up hate still deflating.
Brokaw, you twit. Do you honestly think Trump rose to the presidency in some sort of vacuum? If the Media weren’t so FUBAR, the general public wouldn’t have flocked to vote for him. Plus you allowed Hillary to ‘pick’ her opponent — and that was Trump. So you get what you got.

And Tom Brokaw admitted that!

What is more pathetic than Brokaw's statement is that McCain is such a clueless dupe that he's cool with that.
McCain not only likes stabbing people in the back, he is the first to forgive being stabbed in the back, when he's being stabbed by his liberal "friends", that is.
McCain has no clue that if he was elected POTUS in 2008, that HE would have been shredded 24/7 by his "good buddy" Tom Brokaw.

When they start reporting the news in a responsible way and at least try to be neutral I will watch again...

Sorry, Tom, Trump just pointed out that the fake stream media had no clothes, but you’re the ones who decided to go naked against the truth in the first place. Ya’ll made a deliberate, conscious decision to go all in against Trump, abandoning all pretense of objectivity, including unleashing a tsunami of fabricated “news” and propaganda.
And you lost. But not against Trump, but against the people themselves who’ve easily seen through your lies and have tuned you out. You made your bed and now you have to lie in it.
Naturally ya’ll will blame everyone else but yourselves. But you better get used to it: the fake stream media is no longer a significant factor in establishing what people believe. That’s why conventional broadcast political ads no longer work, and why the smart candidates are no longer wasting their money on fake stream media ads, but are instead turning to the new media.
