CNN anchor Jake Tapper said the Islamic phrase "Allahu akbar" is "beautiful" just minutes after a terrorist attack in New York City.
Suspect Sayfullo Saipov allegedly slammed a truck into bikers and pedestrians Tuesday afternoon near lower Manhattan's West Side Highway, killing 8 and injuring at least 11.
Saipov reportedly yelled "Allahu akbar" - Arabic for "God is great" - after crashing the truck before an NYPD officer was able to shoot him.
The Arabic chant 'Allahu Akbar,' God is great, sometimes is said under the most beautiful of circumstances. And too often, we hear it being said in moments like this, Tapper said on "The Lead."
On "The Five," Jason Chaffetz said the overwhelming majority of Muslims do not commit acts of terror, but it is important to acknowledge that there is an element of radical jihadists in the Islamic faith.
"And we have to be honest about who they are and what they're doing," Chaffetz said.

See my post. Better yet, ask any Arab Christian what is the Arabic word for God that they use in their services (which I have attended many times) and which is found throughout the Arabic Bible.
If the roles were reversed and a conservative said something like that, the liberal chorus would be chastising him for being insensitive to the victims.
Maybe Tapper harassed a female co-worker or 2 and we can be free of his inane comments?
Hoping he gets to hear those beautiful words real close up from a muz who is trying to get his 72 virgins.

Why does CNN have 2 reporters about 10-15 feet apart?
I wonder if Tapper is aware of “beautiful” circumstances of which I am not. I have never once heard of the phrase “Allahu Akbar” used in any but martial circumstances and toward an intended victim. Not once. One might as easily blurt that “GI, you die!” is used in beautiful circumstances. Get a grip, Jake.
I was watching CNN (am on Sling and don’t get FNC) to get any more info about the NYC terror attack as I have relatives in Tribeca. Hadn’t watched CNN in months intentionally. They interviewed a couple of purported eye-witnesses along with several other new orgs; felt very much like local news.
Then Tapper comes on and says that there were reports that the suspect siad Allah Akbar, and made the ‘beautiful’ statement. I stared incredulously at the TV and switched it off.
May CNN go the way of the NFL and ESPN: burned by the limelight of exposure to rational human beings.
These jerks are such PC cucks
From wikiislam.net
“Many Muslims and their apologists claim “Allahu Akbar” is simply the Arabic translation of a common English phrase meaning “God is great!” However, this is untrue. “Allahu Akbar” does not mean “God is great” as claimed. It actually means “Allah is greater.”
‘Allah’ is not simply the Arabic word for ‘God,’ but the name of Islam’s chosen deity and ‘Akbar’ does not mean ‘great’, but ‘greater’. Greater than what? The answer is, Allah is greater than whatever god you happen to believe in.”
I really think we should start making this public knowledge.
Hey Jake, guess the last words which Daniel Pearl probably heard?
Something is going on. Why do these people want us to die at the hands of Muslims?
Yes, and an ancient battle cry.
JAKE:
YOU IGNORANT ASS.
If you know the outcome of something is bad, why go there? If you don’t know the outcome of something ... then ask someone who does.
It is ludicrous to let anyone in our country who does not want to be American and/or hates our country.
How much effort would it take for a person to do some study or research on these countries and the people who live in those countries. Would it make any difference anyway? or are the open border people just too dense to know anything.
Has common sense vanished?.. ‘cause common sense tells us these people from these countries have no business here.
To add to this, the mosques should never have been built in the U S... they should not have had a place to hide that is off limits to everyone else. They should not have had any place to set up their ‘cities’.. they should not be able to have sharia law in any court in our country.. NONE. They should not be able to wear their garb/dress.. They should accept the schools we have and the teaching we have.. and they should not be able to ask for any different teaching or any time for their so-called prayer in any open place in our country.
They can’t come here and change ANYTHING just to suit their “religion”. They can’t bring their country here.. otherwise, stay where they are.
If any of this offends anyone.. then get a clue to what you have wrought!! The end results of letting them come and letting them ‘fundamentally change our country’ is what they are doing.. and what obama was doing.. If you want this, then go live in their countries... don’t try to bring those evil and destructive habits here! You witnessed what they do.. yesterday.. you want that... go elsewhere and live!
Maybe someone should yell Allah Akbar as they are beheading Jake Tapper..would he think that is “Beautiful” My God these liberals will do ANYTHING to protect their precious Muslims..yet a guy uses a gun in Vegas and all white people are evil
It’s a song, to the tune of hakuna matata.
“Allahu ackbar, what a wonderful praise. It means those kaffirs will feel the rest of your rage. It’s a kaffir free, demonocracy. Allahu ackbar!”
There is no such thing as “radical” Islam... these people are not radicalized they are FUNDAMENTALISTS!!!! They are doing exactly what Islam instructs them to do.. they are not being influenced by a perversion of their “religion” they are strictly adhering to the teachings of their “religion”.
It is time to stop whitewashing this fact.
Jake not from State Farm says ‘I hear allahu ackbar, used in many wonderful ways.’ Jake the Snake is technically correct. In his worldview It means positivity.
