I had the cbs news feed on, reporting seemed entirely straightforward. Reporter on the street was a very smart black guy whose name I never heard.
At newser, DiBlasio called it terror attack, police captain described the location, near NYX, and attack on children as prime ISIS target selection process. I picked that up immediately too.

He killed 8 (at last count) by running over them on a bike trail with a rented Home Depot truck. He was stopped when a school bus driver purposely crashed into him.
I saw a later posted NBC excerpt saying a box truck had run over the people and was stopped when a Home Depot truck crashed into him.
These stupid news people want so badly to be the first to report such incidents that they don’t even wait to get facts.
I bet this would stop if politicians that refused to expel mooselimbs were stung up and replaced with people that are serious about eliminating the mooselimb threat.
