As much as it pains me to say it, I think Sanders would have won. There are simply too many people invested in the gibsmedat culture of free stuff paid for by someone else.

He would have attracted SOME people, but Trump would have campaigned way differently and trounced socialism every day. That might have been a good thing for many to hear.

For generations, the colloquialism has always been, 'gimme dat'.

Someone mangled it into 'gibsmedat' a couple of years ago, and spread like a teenage fad.

They all voted for Hillary. Se won the female vote which Sanders would not have won. It would have been a much more principled campaign without the character assassination common to Clinton politics. No grabbing pu**y"; No "Russia collusion," no "lock her up." It would have been a more cerebral, genteel campaign.
