Some WS hitting records being set. Crazy series. I wasn’t following it too closely because I don’t much care about either team, but I decided to watch tonight. More than 5 hours, for 10 innings!

Reminds me of an even bigger slugfest I witnessed in person, although not a WS game. I haven't attended a large number of MLB games in person (and never a World Series game), but when I was young (9 yrs old) I happened to attend one of the most remarkable slugfests in MLB history, at the old Connie Mack Stadium in Philly.
Reds: 19 runs, 25 hits
Phillies: 17 runs, 21 hits
Even though my Phillies lost, it was a rather awe inspiring spectacle (in the all-time Top Ten for combined teams' scoring in a MLB game). Not the game for people who prefer a pitchers' duel !!
