Are you saying that the SS was in a plot to kill Kennedy? Seriously? That agent Lawson was part of the conspiracy? What was his motive? Who was pulling the strings and where is the proof?
No. I am simply saying that he came to town to approve change in route and that date was reportedly 11/18...not last minute
Having visited Dealey Plaza once back in 2011, it was like stepping into a time warp and going back to the scene as it was in 1963. The area is maintained much as it was and I had a feel like time has stood still in that place ever since. Very solemn place. From going up into the School Book Depository building right next to where Oswald stood and looking down, it was certainly a clear and very hittable target, especially given how slow the motorcade was moving.
After reading and seeing so much of what’s been produced, I believe Oswald was the sole shooter. The whole CIA, FBI, KGB connection to Oswald, if proven, would certainly be stunning, but it’s hard for me to believe that after more than a half century it hadn’t come out yet. It’s also hard to believe that the spooks or any of these other governmental powers would’ve had just 1 guy engaged in this. Everybody involved is dead now, hard to believe the secret would’ve held this long.

The JFK assassination happened for reasons similar to the sinking of the Titanic: it was a perfect storm of individuals and organizations on their own making independent and often bad decisions. All of these bad decisions and bad communications culminated in a horrific tragedy. It’s not any more complicated than that.
John Hinckley almost killed Reagan, that was not a conspiracy.
Squeaky Fromm came close to killing Gerald Ford, that was not a conspiracy.
Just because a nut job attempts/succeeds at assassinating a president doesn’t mean there is a large over arching conspiracy involved.

Btw..if oswald was a lone gunman..and the govt was intent on keeping his background out of the public. ..does it stand to reason that perhaps they assasinated oswald. He couldnt go to trial
I was open-minded about the possibilities for years, especially given the head jerk backwards when Kennedy was hit with the 2nd bullet. The Zapruder film made for some very serious questioning, with justification. I saw a number of studies which I’m sure you saw that showed it plausible for a backwards head jerk even from a rear shot.
I also saw that 5-part mini-series The Men Who Killed Kennedy many years ago and that had a lot of the conspiracy stuff that Oliver Stone twisted into his fictional movie. I was as interested as anybody in following an alternative explanation if the facts only tied together. I think the Warren Commission overall has held up pretty well to the test of time.
