Why limit it to prescription drugs? There were an additional 35k non-prescription opioid deaths in 2016.

Thanks to the MSM, Trump, and many others, most people think that “opioids” just mean prescription pain killers.

In fact, heroin and non-prescription fentanyl are opioids, they are illegal, and they kill three times as many Americans as prescription opioids.

Tragically, the entire issue of opioid abuse is being falsely blamed on greedy drug companies and greedy doctors.

What that means is that most drug companies will stop making prescription opioids; the price of each legal pill will double or triple; most doctors will refuse to write opioid prescriptions; and hundreds of thousands of people with severe pain will have to needlessly suffer.
