TEAPOT DOME SCANDAL The villain of the piece, US Sen Albert Albert Fall, covered his tracks well. No evidence of wrongdoing was initially uncovered as the Teapot Dome and other oil leases were legal enough, but records kept disappearing mysteriously.
As the investigation was winding down with Fall apparently innocent, a piece of evidence Fall had forgotten to cover up surfaced: a $100,000 loan to Fall.
Fall had made the leases appear legitimate, but his acceptance of the money was his undoing. By 1924, the remaining unanswered question was how Fall had become so rich so quickly and easily.
Money from the bribes had gone to Fall’s cattle ranch and investments in his business. This discovery broke the scandal open.
Civil and criminal suits related to the scandal continued throughout the 1920s.
In 1929, Albert Fall was found guilty of accepting bribes. Conversely, in 1930, Edward L. Doheny was acquitted of paying bribes to Fall. Further, Doheny’s corporation foreclosed on Fall’s home in Tularosa Basin, New Mexico, because of “unpaid loans” which turned out to be that same $100,000 bribe.

Yesterday on Hannity Radio Show. Hearing him describe how Fusion GPS slimed, just like the dossier, him and others was stunning. Sean needs to have that segment as an audio file so everyone can hear his story.
4:30PM ET - Thor Halvorssen CEO of the New York-based Human Rights Foundation is here to shed some light on Fusion GPS, with whom he has had previous interaction with, and dealings that were unspeakable.
“These are smear artists,” he said Wednesday on “Risk & Reward.” “And what they’ve learned is, if you want to kill an investigation, if you want to destroy a law enforcement investigation, go after the witnesses, go after the whistleblowers.”
Halvorssen testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee in July 2017 against Fusion GPS, during which he outlined his allegations against the company. In 2012, Halvorssen said Derwick Associates received 12 powerplant contracts, despite lacking the qualifications, because of its willingness to pay hundreds of millions of dollars in kickbacks and bribes to Venezuelan government officials, which at the time was controlled by Hugo Chavez. Fusion just tells the FBI no. Yet, no FBI SWAT team come through the door at 5am with a search warrant. That about says it all. The FBI is corrupt.
Fusion was doing a lot of work for the Russian government. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were hired guns for Iran, North Korea and all the other worst actors in the world...
