McCain is acting like a jealous child in his last days on earth. Flake and Corker knew they couldn’t win their next election. These three misfits do not constitute a majority of anything.

This may be cringe-worthy to the Emily Posts of the conservative chattering class, but many of the rest of us are willing to overlook some of the distasteful in exchange for someone in our corner fighting back.
Yup. It was going there regardless. No Queensbury rules, so no point in following them. Makes me think of that scene in the Magnificent Seven, when there's going to be a fight ... no rules. One of the Seven feigning to confirm the "No Rules" part, kicks his opponent in a sensitive area, HARD. (This is from memory, I will not review at work.)

Given the RINOs currently infecting the GOP, there’ll be no GOP soon.

When Hearst Artist Frederic Remington, cabled from Cuba in 1897 that “there will be no war,” William Randolph Hearst cabled back: “You furnish the pictures and I’ll furnish the war.”

I’m not so sure. Why did Swine Ryan slip amnesty and fund Obamacare if he isn’t in full on treason mode?

There is a huge civil war going on in the Republican Party. Both him and his brother missed the boat, again. The Mayor of Realville and his brother need to wake up.

The head of some Establishment Super PAC was on NPR today belittling Steve Bannon, claiming that with McCain out of the way, it will be that much easier to beat Kelli Ward in a primary. SURE, a proven strong challenger vs. someone put up to stop her with no incumbency status.
He also stated that three of Bannon's targets have already been endorsed by Trump. Uh, Mr. Establishment PAC guy, have you ever heard of Luther Strange? Trump's great, but he sometimes decides to cooperate with Republicans who don't hold his best interest at heart to gain cooperation as needed, show he can work with folks, and to earn the trust of those who may consider working with him in exchange for a cease fire. Bannon does not have those restrictions.
It is hard for Trump to be cast as "Hitler" when you are playing the part of "Good Cop".
Trump's endorsement is not the last word, and Bannon's targets remain vulnerable.

You can be a nationalist or a globalist, but not both.
The Nationalist are going to take over the Republican Party and win the civil war that the Limbaugh deny even exists. Someone paid money for this article? Wow.

David’s take on popular support for Trump is on target. I am delighted with Trump. He is is own man and goes toe to toe with the politicians I hate the most. He may be a bully but he is MY bully.

As most recognize, Trump is not primarily ideological, though he does have a set of strong ideas on certain policies. I disagree with his protectionist bent, and I don't believe he should cater to the class warriors in promoting his otherwise attractive tax proposal. I also believe he could have been much more successful on Obamacare reform if he'd have tried to placate the bleeding hearts less via pre-existing conditions and mandated coverage and implement truly constructive market solutions. That's it. I am not going to protest or oppose him because of the parts I don't like. He was the only way we were going to avoid the Totalitarian Curtain coming down on America. He has put off the descent into political night and given the nation time to at least knock back the Communists (alias Progressives) and delay the vise of Shariah for a time.

David L. doesn’t even acknowledge that there is a huge rift in the Republican Party. WTH?

Of course. Voting laws nationwide make a new party impossible, so you have to take over one of the major parties. Let the Flakes and Corkers be the new party.

He may be a bully but he is MY bully. It was called the "Bully Pulpit" long before President Trump mounted it. Nobody in the MSM was complaining about bullying when the marxist usurper who preceded Trump was punching down on FOX news and us bitter clingers.
