President of Judicial Watch Tom Fitton said Mueller had to have known about Hillary Clinton’s ties to the Dossier.
As Kristinn Taylor reported earlier on The Gateway Pundit the WaPo bombshell article claims the 2016 presidential campaign of Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee paid for the Fusion GPS dossier alleging Russian ties with the presidential campaign of Republican Donald Trump and sordid phony personal smears of Trump.
To nobody’s surprise, Hillary Clinton is now claiming she didn’t know about the Russia dossier that her campaign actually paid for until after Buzzfeed published the 35-page document in January of 2017.
Everyone at the DNC is also denying they knew about the Russia dossier…

I have a question. Who was the source of this news that named the Hillary Campaign and the DNC as the payors of the “dossier”?
Seems to go back to Fusion GPS, who said it was from NeverTrumper Republican and not directly from any campaign, so we really don’t know. But that story has been around as long as the Dossier itself.
Apparently (drum roll please) the Wash Post broke the story.
The Post report provides possible answers to other questions.
Because Clinton’s team paid for the dossier, it’s likely that she gave it to the FBI, where James Comey planned to hire the former British agent who had compiled it to keep digging dirt on Trump
I don’t doubt this news, I’m just shocked that there is no source for it.
I can’t understand why the payors of the dossier are suddenly just named yesterday, with no source, that the media Left and Right both explode simultaneously with the unsourced “news”, which is suddenly taken as fact, yet no one names the source.
They don’t even bother to say “anonymous source” and yet the revelation itself is being taken straight to the bank and deposited as FACT.
Just curious that this is the first time I ever heard universal splashing news with no source named, going straight to print and accepted by both sides.

It’s just that the source of their information is, as far as I know, unnamed. Not even as “anonymous”.
The effort behind the dossier began as “never Trump” GOP-funded opposition research project during the Republican primaries.
The donor, PAC or campaign that first retained Fusion GPS has not been revealed.
After Trump secured the presidential nomination, the GOPs behind the Fusion GPS oppo effort dropped the project. It was picked up by the DNC and the Clinton campaign through law firm Perkins Coie. Fusion GPS hired former MI6 officer Christopher Steele.

Congress threatened to subpoena Fusion GPS financial records. Looks like Fusion named the DNC and Clinton to prevent having to reveal records.

According to the FOX program “KENNEDY” last night, she referenced casually that a “LOW ENERGY” Republican candidate financed the oppo research, during the primary campaign. (I took it naturally to mean Jeb Bush of course, and wondered if anybody picked up on that, (as she speaks very fast and dramatically mumbles.)
However, that oppo research effort yielded nothing useful and was subsequently dropped once that candidate had gained no traction and never recovered from bad polls.
This Christopher Steele guy is a known socialist and the company— FUSION’s highest receipts for their work comes from criminal enterprises according to one of their victims, who appeared this evening with Liz Peek, on FoxBiz.
Anyway, the dirty work of FUSION continued eventually, but under the $$$ from the HRC Campaign and the (broke) DNC.
It was not until the campaign and DNC came into the picture that Christopher Steele was ever brought into FUSION, hired and assigned to get serious, regardless of the veracity of the sources.

No, not at all. It appears that he participated in covering up the Uranium One deal. If Mueller wants to change his stripes and help an investigation, then that's good. But there's no way such a person should be responsible for leading the investigation.
Sorry, but please think. You don't let somebody who has turned, lead an investigation.
