Gee, where have I been? About 40 years in work force including the “Mad Men” era and never saw/heard of any of this crap. I think most of what we hear is a figment of ill imagination.

Different experience totally. Rarely had a job where something wasn’t attempted EVEN IN SWITZERLAND where the real sheep are bolder than the men. My poor shy Swiss boss there called me in for some official reason and said to me in English (we spoke only German normally) “Foxy Lady.” I made a face and he said, in German, “Don’t they say that in America?” And I said “Not at work they don’t!” Poor shy innerschweizer married man, he may have been traumatized by his big try. I felt bad for h8m, lol.
Only one boss I had for a very short time went too far literally, trying to dictate I dress inappropriately for real. I was out of there in 2 Days.
