Democratic candidates lead by 15 points in a hypothetical matchup for the 2018 midterm elections, according to a new Fox News poll.
In the survey, 50 percent of respondents said that if the election for Congress were held today, they would vote for the Democratic candidate. Only 35 percent said they would vote for a Republican.
About a year ago, the same question showed voters evenly split, with 45 percent saying they would vote for a Democrat, and 45 percent saying they would vote Republican.

You may know more about the accuracy of the poll. I have no way to vouch for its accuracy without the internals. The point I was making that any poll is a snapshot in time of the current reality. There are so many variables and so much time before the 2018 midterms that the polls will change. Of that I am certain.
Generic ballot questions are meaningless.
Trump won the Presidency when he was only polling 39% approval or something like that....
Stop the nonsense... Hillary was supposed to win PA by 10 points remember that?
There is no indication that MAGA voters have abandoned Trump... so to think the nation is suddenly going to wave elect democrats is beyond stupid.
Stop the doom and gloom.. everyone look at their local race and honestly assess... do you believe your sitting republican if you have one is going to be voted out? Odds of 60 seats changing hands is laughable.
This is more trumped up push polling nonsense. Generic Ballot polling means nothing.. When you show me REPUTABLE polling that shows 60 congressional seats in danger of flipping, I’ll give you the time of day, until then, more Uniparty propaganda.
you really think with the polarization of the electorate that suddenly there are 60+ out of 435 districts that are suddenly going to go R? Be serious folks. 2010 was a correction to the 2008 mistake that many voters made when they voted for Obama/Dems out of Anger at Bush/Republicans for the horrible 2nd term of the bush presidency., reactional response to the passing of Obamacare and radical leftist agenda that Obama put the Nation on. Do you think Anything Trump has done to date since being elected that has angered or alienated anyone who voted for him????
Stop falling for this folks... stop being sheep.
Odds are there will be house loses in the mid term, that’s history, but the idea Democrats will gain 48 house seats (there is no way those 2 existing R openings are going D) in 2018 is laughable...
However if Bannon is successful in running strong MAGA primary opponents against GOPe/RINOs.... odds are change drastically. The hardest fight a Republican is going to face is if they are viewed as anti MAGA, or an impedance to MAGA... Those guys if they are not primaried are the most likely to lose as voters stay home rather than send them back to washington.
Jun 21, 2017 · Karen Handel, a Republican, defeated Jon Ossoff, a Democrat, in the most expensive U.S. House race in history.
lol
this is the same polling outfit that declared Roy Moore to be now behind ?
ROFL
right.
how does such a cute little girl grow up to be such a hag?
Democrats turn out in large numbers in mid-term elections—like never!
However, as it was said earlier, it's going to take more than one election cycle to clear out the traitorous RINO'S.
Based on what I'm observing, it appears that the Swamp draining strategy is to first drain the Senate then work on the House since the Senate cycles through every 6 years versus every 2 years and it requires fewer changes to achieve the goal.
In this respect, I plan to watch for the Senate candidate flying the Bannon flag to unite the voters behind who's the conservative in a multi-candidate GOP primary which essentially defeats the strategy that the GOPe designed to water down the vote for the true conservative in the race.
Everyone here needs to observe the same.
Awesome strategy! I, too, will be looking for the Bannon flag.
I wish all sides would wear matching uniforms or something.
So much easier to tell where their loyalties lay! :-)
You are correct. I have not been active in 6 years, and I did support Huntsman in 2016. I still think he would have won and would have been a decent prez.
I dont hate the gop establishment types like Ryan and McConnell. I give them the benefit of the doubt far more than most.
That being said I voted MAGA and support trump and his agenda. It would be a disaster to lose congress in 2018. This poll made me nervy.
With Bannon “signaling” for us, we don’t have to be asking “Where’s Waldo?” in a crowded room of RINO’s.
The poll is registering the fact that people are HIGHLY P*SSED at Republicans.
Does not mean the logical outcome of that is they’ll vote for Democrats.
Dems always poll well when it’s “generic”.
Not so much once voters get a gander at the raving racist feminist left-wing fruit bat they actually nominate.
Sorry. ‘Not buying in that market anymore.
Good thing we can trust the media.
CORRECT.
The dam is breaking on many scandals involving DEMOCRATS. These scandals are not accounted for in any polling.
Conservatives need to use WORDS like:
SLEAZY Democrat
CROOKED Democrat
CRIMINAL Democrat
Democrat DIRTY TRICKS
Democrat CORRUPTION
Democrat SLIME
Trump has proven the power of words. Start DESTROYING the Democrat brand.
48 seats? Dems only need to win like 22 to get a majority.
AND because the educational system has been producing Zombie's designed to vote for the RAT party.
They need 25 I believe to get the majority, my mistake and I don’t see that happening either.
Especially if the Dems plan on running on “the impeachment” strategy... if anything will motivate the MAGA base in an off year election to show up to vote it will be just to smack down those who want to undo the 2016 election
I can’t speak for all folks of a conservative bent, but I suspect many or most of us hang up on pollsters. I do.
