The Republican told The Arizona Republic that he will drop out of the race over the nastiness in the current GOP climate.

Ward has to get the nomination first. Now that Flake has announced I suspect Jeff DeWitt and Robert Graham will get into the race. Trump was trying to talk them into it back in August. Not sure how well Ward will do in a crowded primary.

I hope you're right. Do you think Kelli Ward can win? I don't know what the AZ electorate is like these days, but I do know there are a lot of snowbird types from other states moving to AZ full time, just like the southeastern part of the US.
