I hope he doesn’t change his mind. Rubio also announced he wasn’t running, then at last minute changed his mind.

A lot of sanctimonious gibberish about standing up for principal - he was headed for defeat in the primary - we wingnuts are tired of our holier than thou betters preaching to us....
To: TheStickman
Flake is crying on the senate floor about President Trump.
So...this is what gnashing of teeth looks like!

HA HA His job was just outsourced by an H1-B named MAGA.

he may just prefer to stay and acclimate himself to the heat, in preparation. John McCain will never EVER give up any power. Not until the day he dies...

Ward will beat Sinema, a bigley open borders LGBTQEIEIO abortion nut. Ward has to get the nomination first. Now that Flake has announced I suspect Jeff DeWitt and Robert Graham will get into the race. Trump was trying to talk them into it back in August. Not sure how well Ward will do in a crowded primary.
To: azkathy; LS
I believe his internal polling told him he was about to get run over by Kelly Ward so hes trying to save himself the humiliation. I hope you're right. Do you think Kelli Ward can win? I don't know what the AZ electorate is like these days, but I do know there are a lot of snowbird types from other states moving to AZ full time, just like the southeastern part of the US.

If you are given high marks by these two below then good riddance!
“Flake informed Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) of his decision earlier Tuesday. I knew that he was thinking about it but very sorry its happened,” McCain said. “Hes one of the most honorable men Ive ever known.
Democrats echoed that sentiment, speaking to Flake’s popularity in the Senate among members of both parties.
“He is one of the finest human beings I’ve met in politics. He is moral, upright, and strong and he will be missed by just about everybody in the Senate,” Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said in a statement.

Your post is very discouraging. Why? No sooner does a lousy RINO call it quits you immediately cast doubts the MAGA candidate and her ability to win in the general elections. What the hell? Cower and hand wring in silence. This is embarrassing
Of course she is going to crush her opponent. This is why I have disavowed any relationship to the Republican Party. Squishes everywhere.

He’ll get a solid retirement gig with the DEMS/RINOS now that he doesn’t have to vote to support Trump’s agenda. He can be a PITA vote all he wants.
