McCain Bursts Out Laughing When Asked if He's Scared of Trump
Newsweek ^ | October 23, 2017 | Harriet Sinclair

The suggestion that President Donald Trump could be scary has moved Senator John McCain to laughter, and a reiteration of the sentiment that he’s faced far worse than the mercurial president.

The Arizona senator and the president have been embroiled in something of a spat in recent months, disagreeing on a number of issues including health care.

Appearing alongside his panel host daughter on The View on Monday, McCain, 81, was asked whether he was afraid of Trump.

The war hero senator burst out laughing, telling the panel: “I mentioned that I had faced greater challenges.”

This is more than seven years old. I worked it up during McCain’s run to get re-elected in 2010.

It’s seven years old so some of the links are bad.

I thought of that also.

Having good men serve on a ship named after this guy would be a travesty.

I think you’re right, he’s bitter and unhinged. Oh wait, that’s all globalist, liberal a’holes who are losing to Trump the Magnificent.

McCain has milked the Hanoi Hilton Hero reputation for all its worth.

The problem is, everyone on the Left who are now hoisting his Military Record have no use for the other Heroes who were also Prisoners of the Viet Cong. Their names are not mentioned in the same breathe as McCain’s.

They are forgotten while McCain evolves into a Useful Idiot for the Progressive movement.

I still remember these drooling McCain loving Liberals making fun of him back in 2008 because he cannot type on a Keyboard due to the Shoulder and Arm Injuries he suffered while punching out of his Airplane.

How many people were hurt when he welched on his promise to repeal Obamacare. People can’t afford care, people going bankrupt, people who lost HC insurance or only can get high deductible coverage.

All the same while McCain has coverage outside the Obamacare system because congress doesn’t live under laws they pass, or won’t repeal.

Rat Mc Cain Mc Anus, I can’t wait for him to be room temperature.

“it’s the tumor.”

Is it? McCain is maintaining a very active public and work schedule for an 81 year old man who is ostensibly dying of an aggressive brain cancer. The radiation and chemotherapy treatments for this disease would greatly diminish the energy of a much younger man not to mention the headaches and sensory problems associated with the disease.

Most people suffering from a debilitating fast progressing disease, would walk from the job and spend the last days remaining with family or knocking off the bucket list. In contrast McCain chooses to pander to pick fights with the president and pander to the media. Ted Kennedy for example worked a few months in the Senate and then spent most of his last 6 months in Massachusetts sailing and spending time privately with friends and family. Either McCain is a mentally ill self absorbed egomaniac or his illness is not as severe as portrayed. Could it be that a year from now we’ll be marveling that McCain beat the odds?

He is though, so who can tell which it is?

I met McCain’s first instructor many years ago, he told me that McCain wasn’t fit to be a Naval officer, let alone being a pilot.

just because he's driven beyond all reason by his hatred of our country doesn't mean his tumor isn't at least partially at fault.

He had no tumor. He had a clot, and since these types of clots sometimes are an early warning of a specific type of cancer down the road, they biopsied around that area and found a cell or two. They're zapping it just in case.

He's going to have years to live, cancer-free because they nipped this in the bud long before it even began to form a tumor.

We're stuck with him for at least the remaining 3 years of his current term, and possibly for another one after that.

Trump is living rent-free in McCain’s head. McCain has abandoned every principle he ever held because he can’t get over his Trump butt-hurt.

I'm not convinced he ever had any true morals or principles to speak of. He has lied his way through life and now that he is getting ready to pay the eternal price for his crimes he just doubles down.

He is just about to meet some challenges on the other side he can't lie his way through. In a way I wish I could be a fly on that wall just to see he got what was coming to him.

The MSM calls him one of the great senators of our time. I call him what he really is; a traitor to his party, his loved ones (he left his first wife when she became disabled), and his country. He should be remembered along side Benedict Arnold. I think the name Benedict came from the holy word "Benediction" meaning "short blessing".

I guess McStain could be considered a 'short blessing' for our enemies being the little man he is. BeneDick McStain.

The titles don't match the articles' details:

"The senator underwent surgery to remove a blood clot on Friday at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix. Lab results from that surgery confirmed the presence of brain cancer associated with the blood clot."

According to the doctor's statement, they only found a clot... since these clots can signal FUTURE cancer tumors, they biopsied tissue around that area... they found some early calls and removed them all before they could grow into tumors.

He'll be fine from this... they got to it before they could get to the tumor stage.

“Sen. John McCain’s recent attacks on Barack Obama, accusing him of being a terrorist, combined with GOP columnists and bloggers arguing that Obama supports ‘painting the white house black’ and ‘racial reparations’ represent an embrace of the problematic ‘Southern Strategy’ that the GOP has historically used to increase white racial resentment,” said Spence, who is African American. “But as can be seen in the most recent presidential debate, he is employing this strategy selectively, only among the GOP faithful.” -2008 politico

That’s for reposting your list. You put a lot of work into it. Great work, Sir.

On the first item “He came into conflict with higher-ranking personnel and did not always obey the rules, which contributed to a low class rank (894 of 899)” ... there is no way a person can be ranked 894/899 just by coming into some “conflicts with higher-ranking personnel”. McCain the pompous ass was virtually at the bottom of his graduating class.
