Former White House adviser Sebastian Gorka fought back last week against former President George W. Bushs thinly veiled attacks on President Trump in a recent speech, telling EWTN host Raymond Arroyo that while Bush criticized the current climate of conspiracy theories and bigotry, it was in fact President Obama who drove the division in America.
We just came out of eight years in which the White House drove the division, Gorka said. They looked at us solely based upon our skin color, our ethnic background, our sexual preference, our social class. None of this applies to the president.
There isnt a racist bone in President Trumps body, he added, and if you go to the Trump rallies, these arent people who divide us, these are people who want to come together. So Im very disappointed in former President Bush.

I cannot express enough how the mighty Bush family has destroyed itself from my perspective.
When Bush Sr. was sworn in, I thought him to be one of the most prepared men to hold the office. He had held a number of top level positions. He had been there during the Reagan years.
The lead up to the first Iraq war, was solid. His ability to get Arabs on our side, or at least to stay neutral was excellent. He got Europe involved.
And then after the war, he seemed to think he could coast.
He did not run a conventional campaign. He was AWOL for far too long.
IMO < he gave the election to Clinton. From there, it was downhill all the way for the family.
I never saw GW as a Conservative who got it. He was a warmed over bucket of horse sweat. He was a moderate. He was vintage GOPe.
Yes, I supported some of the things he did. And yes, he left the nation in the pit of despair in January 2009.
He so thoroughly screwed up our nation (it happened on his watch), that there was at least some serious talk of whether the Capitalist system was what we had talked it up to be.
Conservatism, the ideology he never bought into, was trashed as if he was it’s best protagonist.
Our economic system was in a shambles as he left office.
Welcome, Barack Obama...
Now GW shoots him mouth off, as if when Trump returns us to where we should be, it will be an affront to him (Bush) personally.
That family should be banned from politics. (okay, I know we can’t do that, but our party sure could) (Just say no!)
Bush 2 was the spare, Low energy Jeb! was the one supposed to be in the Oval Office
The Kenyanesian Usurpation was only possible with the full cooperation of BOTH parties.
McCain and Romney were Designated Losers.
so was Majority Leader Dole, its almost like her didn’t even try against Bubba Clinton in 96
What drives the NeverTrumpers is trying to protect their 30 year bipartisan policy of non-enforcement of laws and borders with the goal of changing the demographics of the country.
George H W Bush, instead of implementing the enforcement measures of the 1986 amnesty that were to prevent the need of another, set in motion the illegal alien inundation that now numbers over 30 million.
The illegal alien inundation was intentional.
They invited those people here against our will and they do not want us restoring the rule of law and sending them home.
Trump broke through the Bush blockade of only nominating amnesty candidates that kept us from stopping the Cheap Labor Express.
NeverTrump is really NeverSovereignty.
The purpose of the illegal alien inundation is to dilute American citizens votes so they can institute their new world order.
US and our freedoms stand in their way.
That may be.
I think they have high hopes for George P., and that’s part of the reason they played along with illegal immigration.
They saw a lot of votes coming his way from that group.
I think the Bush family is done, when it comes to national politics.
(I certainly hope so.)
Couldn’t agree with you more on all points.
We currently have 46 million recent (whatever that means) foreign nationals here.
I think it’s high time we had a moratorium for thirty or more years.
Give tax incentives to the middle class to get them to have larger families.
Let us take care of our own for a while.
Running a nursery to the planet is getting very old.
George P is the GOPe dream candidate. Run him with Joni E from Iowa and he would be hard to beat...
I will never vote for another Bush.
Had misgivings about GW, and finally broke down and voted for him in 2004. By 2009 he had literally almost destroyed the nation.
In 2000, I voted for Buchanan due to his stance on our border.
If only we had addressed that when we only had 10 million illegals in country.
Buchanan was weak in foreign policy IMO. I wanted our homeland safe. We can see now why. We have been over-run.
When I was younger I was enjoying watching society become colorblind. Obama has reversed the trend. Skin color is not seen as the most important thing about a person. It is not a good direction.
Dr. Seuss wins with The Sneeches. It doesnt matter which race is better at the moment. Pay attention to the middlemen who profit from both sides.
The GOPe bench is getting pretty thin, even Rubio is pro illegals.
I honestly expect to see a new crop of politicians come forward over the next seven years.
Some of them will have gotten the message on illegal aliens.
One of them will make a good V.P. for Pence.
I wouldn’t mind seeing another CEO type, if he agreed with Trump’s vision.
The Bush family carries to much baggage.
When everyone realized JEB couldnt beat off that nut, the handwriting should have been on the wall, to never, ever let him run for Prez!
At least the Bush family got their friends to pour their millions down that rat hole and lose to everyone on the primary stage during those pitiful debates!
JEB went on to stand against drilling off the FL Gulf coast but most unthinkable thing ever, was when he allowed the starvation of Terri Schiavo, that showed us that there really isnt much love for the true humanity by him or in fact, the Bush family, seeing as how all the Bush women are pro-abortion!
What is “Right Wing Watch”?
And pro same sex marriage.
Unless, of course, if they formally declare themselves to be the Democrat leftists that they certainly act like. I'm sure the fossils of the Left (Pelosi, Feinstein, Sanders and even the Clintons) would welcome the "esteemed" Bush clan into the halls of nepotism, closet racism and the "Noblesse Oblige" that these 0.01%ers enjoy.
Couldn’t argue with that.
