That’s one of the problems with the Global Warming hysteria: While a few equatorial areas will be plagued with hotter temps, people in the Northern hemisphere will see longer, growing seasons. Who is to say who should benefit & who should suffer?

Happily, it is all nonsense, a fraud by globalists to enrich/empower themselves at the expense of the deplorables; a fraud being rapidly exposed.

"I told you to plant Chardonnay. Now we shall have to make do with La Crescent. We'll make the best of it I suppose. Tell Anne to take her shoes off and commence to stomping. And be sure she cleanses her feet first!"

If the Vikings ever did really find grape vines, they were tiny wild grapes with no use for winemaking or even eating. We still have them around today and trust me they offer no sustenance. Some say it was hype by the returning explorers to enhance their reputations.

Apparently we’re doing fine this year. We had good rains and plenty of sunshine. Haven’t heard a word in the local news that suggests any problems. We go to various wineries often and everyone is excited and happy about the year so far. Looking forward to a good cold late Autumn and a nice freeze for the Ice Wine season.

More wineries all the time grace the south shore of Lake Erie in northern Ohio from the Michigan/Indiana border to Conneaut.

Good to hear! I’m not a wine drinker, but enjoy the fact that there are wineries here.
