A new report from NBC News reveals that mega-lobbyist Tony Podesta is now facing a criminal inquiry as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.
Sources say that Mueller’s investigation “has now morphed into a criminal inquiry” about whether the Podesta Group violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act, according to the report.
The Podesta Group filed a FARA registration retroactively after reports revealed that they received payments from a think tank funded by a foreign government.
Tony Podesta is the brother of John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s former presidential campaign chairman. The two brothers have spent decades successfully leveraged each other’s ties to create more power, wealth and influence for themselves and their causes.
A spokesperson from the lobbying behemoth tells NBC that the Podesta Group is cooperating with the investigation.

Exactly. There is no way that Muller’s true purpose is to hurt the Podesta’s. This is the way to prevent someone from doing a real investigation with real consequences.
It is unbelievable that this whole Muller thing is completely ending the pursuit of criminal activities via normal legal channels such as the FBI and the justice Department. Most of these things should also be happening in a court of law. The public should have some access to the proceedings as well. Muller can find a way to get control of everything so he can control it and cover up what needs to be covered up.

You’re probably right. It’s possible the Awans will get done for bank fraud but any sort of espionage or mishandling classified info, forget it. You have to admit, the Harvey thing is so utterly perfect in its timing, salaciousness and distracting qualities.
