Husband has taken off work today and we're travelling to Brown County to hopefully see the beautiful Fall leaves that are turning. Of course eat at the Nashville House. Husband loves the fried biscuits and apple butter there.
AH,Hem. We have everything ,brown county has without the hoards of people (Stop by). Take 135 down through Story (great restaurant) to Brownstown You’ll be just a couple of miles from house.
After putting up home canned jelly, don’t throw out the remaining pulp. That’s the good stuff. Make it into butter. Add cinnamon and nutmeg and it’ll taste like Christmas, yum yum.
Confession, I give away the jelly but keep the butters from myself.
