If you are tempted to click in the rest of the long CNN article it is mostly a history and pictures of presidential pets up to Obama's dogs and Pence's cats.

At least they are not exploiting animals for their own gain.
I think it would be nice for them to have a pet, though. Maybe it's because he is quite hyper about germs. I wish Barron could have grown up with at least a dog. A child's life and heart is so very enriched by a loving pet.
Maybe they should try having a pet. Admitting it is a first for them, and they are merely doing it because so many people have recommended that they get one. I think President Trump would be very amazed at how much he could care for a dog or a cat.
