in the South most definitely, but certainly not back in Wyo... you actually have to know terrain and know where and when the game is going to most likely be.
Here is more like a video game...
Nebraska is a bit harder too.
You can go to where the deer should be (food, water, shelter), and they may choose not to be there. Because there are LOTS of places for them to be.
The most frustrating thing is to see a hundred deer just across the property line, and then have the owner tell you the DAY AFTER SEASON ENDS “Why didn’t you just shoot them?”
