Nebraska is a bit harder too.

You can go to where the deer should be (food, water, shelter), and they may choose not to be there. Because there are LOTS of places for them to be.

The most frustrating thing is to see a hundred deer just across the property line, and then have the owner tell you the DAY AFTER SEASON ENDS “Why didn’t you just shoot them?”

My brother was hunting Elk , they were JUST across the fence in a different area from where they were, they tried everything to get them to move into the area they were in, no dice... they just had to watch :)
